Iain will be showing a series of seascapes and sky studies with the John
Muir Trust in Pitlochry in the Autumn. The exhibition is called vesper and will be
at The Wild Space, the JMT’s new permanent gallery space from October 10th
– December 8th 2014.
mark the exhibition, we have produced an affordable print edition of Grímsvötn, a
previously unseen seascape. The piece was made at first light in Durness,
Sutherland in May 2011. A surreal silver-grey dawn breaks as the ash plume from
the Icelandic volcano eruption drifts over to mainland Scotland.
Grímsvötn is a 12” x
16” Fuji Crystal Archive print, in an edition of 100. Each print is signed and
numbered. Prints will be on sale during the exhibition at The Wild Space with a
percentage of proceeds going to the John Muir Trust.
